Within the framework of Twinning Program between Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association in Dak Lak Province and Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association in Sekong province of Laos, in the morning on June 21st, delegation of Sekong province of Laos led by Mr. Khăm Phiêm Bua Lạ Pha, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Committee and President of Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association of Sekong province paid a visit to Provincial Dak Lak Museum.

On 18th June, the delegation of Quang Nam Provincial Museum headed by Mr. Nguyen Nay, Director of the Museum, visited and worked at the Dak Lak Provincial Museum.

On the morning of June 8th, at the Medical College of Dak Lak, the Youth Union Block of agencies organized an opening ceremony of the 2018 Youth Volunteer Campaign with the theme "Dak Lak Youth are creative and join-hand to build new rural and urban civilization".

President Ho Chi Minh was really interested in the patriotic emulation movement and he was a emulation model. President Ho Chi Minh not only left to our Party and people views on patriotic emulation, but the movement of patriotic emulation launched by him and the Party left valuable experiences in directing, steering, and organizing the current emulation movement. Although seventy years have gone since President Ho Chi Minh wrote the appealing to Patriotic Emulation (11th June 1948 – June 11th 2018), until now the theoretical and practical values of the appealing remain intact.

In response to World Environment Day in 2018, Dak Lak Museum, on the June 5th morning, launched a planting and cleaning movement around the campus.

According to the census of Dak Lak Provincial Museum, for the first five months of 2018, there have been more than 30,000 visitors to the Museum.

In the morning on May 25th, Dak Lak Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a meeting to collect comments on the draft of the project "Improving the quality and renovating the operation of Dak Lak Museum to attract visitors and develop tourism" and the project "Restoring, embellishing and promoting values of the Historical and Cultural Relics of Buon Ma Thuot Prison, period 2018 - 2022".

In the morning on May 9th 2018, Dak Lak Museum received and worked with Department of Cultural Heritage.
