The war stopped for nearly 50 years, but its consequences are still present. The pain affected with Agent Orange is thing that Vietnamese country will need hundreds of years to overcome. The ecological environment is destroyed, the sequelas of Agent Orange/dioxin have lasted from generations. The Agent Orange suffered families in Vietnam have extremely difficulty in their living.

Today, development of information technology has brought a lot of utility for its users. In particular, the electronic information system via Intenet is used mostly thanks to its popularity in communication, searching and reading information by the superiority of the software applications on management, documentation digitization. This proves that the information technology has become one of the important factors that deeply transforms the development of the whole society, including culture in general and museum in particular.

Provincial People's Committee of Dak Lak issued Decision No. 2475/QD-UBND on ratifying the project of quality improvement and innovation of operation ways of the Dak Lak Museum to attract visitors and develop tourism.

In the framework of supplementing information and content for the photo book published in the coming time, on October 16th, Dak Lak Museum held a meeting to give comments on the photo book titled "Jars in the Ede’s living in Dak Lak”.

On October 12th morning, at the Institute of Social Sciences in the Central Highlands, Dak Lak Museum participated in the scientific seminar of the Youth Uninion "Developing high quality human resources in the Youth Union members and social science researching Youth".

Recognizing importance and deep meaning of adding and enriching documents, objects and photos for research and exhibition at Dak Lak Museum towards building Dak Lak Museum to become the Central Highlands Museum in 2025.

"August is the father’s death anniversary, March is the mother’s death anniversary" that are familiar words of any Vietnamese people living in the homeland or in the foreign land.

During the 27th and 28 of September 2018, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in collaboration with the Australian Embassy in Vietnam and National Museum of Australia organized a training program on exhibition and communication for staff of Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and nearly twenty other museums in Vietnam, including staff of Dak Lak Provincial Museum.
