To welcome Independence Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2nd, 1945 - September 2nd, 2018) and the 41st anniversary of the foundation of Dak Lak Provincial Museum (1977 - 2018), Dak Lak Provincial Museum, during the 1st and the 2nd 2018, holds a practical program titled “Musical exchange”.

Lung Cu Flag Tower is a monument on the Rong Mountain in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province located on the northernmost point in Vietnam coordinating 23021’75” north latitude and 105018’97” east longitude at 1,468.73 meters above sea level. On the top of the Flag Tower is the Vietnamese Flag that is 54 meters square in width, representing 54 ethic peoples.

On July 18th, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism opens a training course “Supplemetary professional knowledge and knowledge of management, protection and promotion of Vietnamese Cultural Heritage” in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh province

Implementing the Instructions No. 22-CT/TW dated January 23rd, 2018 of Secretariat on promoting patriotic emulation movements towards the 70th anniversary when President Ho Chi Minh launched "Appealing for patriotic emulation” (June 11th, 1948 - June 11th, 2018), Vietnam News Agency in cooperation with Central Commission of Emulation and Reward compiled and published the book "70 years of patriotic emulation" (1948 -2018).

During two days between June 1st and 2nd, 2018, Dak Lak Museum organizes experiential and educational activities titled "Children and Nature".

On May 18th, 2018, on the 128th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19th 1890 - May 19th 2018), the 72th year of Foundation of the International Museum Council (1946 - 2018) and the 41st year of International Museum Day (May 18th 1977 - May 18th 2018), Trade Union of Dak Lak Museum cooperated with Trade Union of Provincial Management Center of Relics to organize a sports event of Trade Union in 2018.

In the morning on May 17th, 2018, the Group of Non-productive Units under Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a conference to launch an emulation movement and concluding contract of emulation in 2018. Participating in the conference were Mr. Nguyen Van Ha, Deputy Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mrs. Le Thi Chung, head of Department Office and representatives of the units under the emulation group.

On May 8th 2018, assigned by Dak Lak Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Dak Lak Museum has received and worked with the delegation of Ben Tre Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism led by Mr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, Deputy Director of Ben Tre Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism together with leaders and staff of Ben Tre Museum and Ben Tre Tourism Promotion Center.
