In general, the work in all aspects has reached progress of plans; the number of tourists and tourism revenue of tourism business has increased in comparison to that in the same period in the first 6 months of 2017 on the number of tourists and tourism revenue. The conservation and promotion of ethnic cultural values have been concerned; directed, guide and well organized the activities of culture, sports and tourism to welcome the Party and the Spring Mau Tuat of 2018, many entertainment activities have been organized throughout the province to create a happy Spring atmosphere, meeting the entertainment needs of people during the Lunar New Year. Especially, the arts program on New Year's Eve titled "Welcome the Party and welcome the Spring" changed in forms with the combination between tradition and modern has attracted crowds. Gymnastics and sports activities have been organized in many localities in the province; successfully organized the opening ceremony and competitions in the program of Gymnastics and Sports Festival of Dak Lak; hosted the national sports tournaments have been highly appreciated.

The activities of the Federation, the Sports Association have not been very active, the fund for the operation is not sufficient, depending on the support and funding of the state management agencies.
