On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27th, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Dak Lak Museum Youth Union in coordination with the Youth Union of Dak Lak Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a series of memorial activities at historical sites in Buon Ma Thuot ward, including the National Special Historical Site of Buon Ma Thuot Penitentiary, the Historical Site of the Memorial Site for Southward Soldiers and the National Historical Site of Lac Giao Communal House.

Ea Sup district was established according to Decision No.230-CP dated on August 30th, 1977, of the Government Council regarding the division of Krong Buk into two districts named Krong Buk and Ea Sup, having the area of 176,563 hectares and a 26.3 - kilometer border adjacent to the Kingdom of Cambodia. Nowadays, Ea Sup has 29 ethnic groups living together closely and unitedly, joining hands to build and develop the economy.

By 2024, Dak Lak has discovered over 70 archaeological sites, dating back thousands of years, which is considered as an evidence of the very early presence of prehistoric residents here. An ancient culture of Dak Lak with brilliant development, spread and interference. Thousands of found various artifacts provide a large material resource for researching the history of Dak Lak. These artifacts converge the cultural quintessence of each historical period and the crystallization of labor, exploration and constant creativity of the ancients, affirming a long-standing historical and cultural tradition of Dak Lak, unique and diverse in the unity.

The Ede are well-known for their epics named Dam San, Xinh Nha..., which are long rhyme stories, even described or illustrated with movements and actions. The Ede epic is a true product of the slash-and-burn civilization.

On the occasion of welcoming The Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024 and the Vietnamese Communist Party Foundation Day (February 3rd 1930 - February 3rd 2024), Dak Lak Museum in collaboration with Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts organizes a specialized exhibition titled "Vietnamese Folk Paintings".

The role of technology in museum displays has evolved rapidly over the past few decades. From basic audio guides to fully virtual reality experiences, museums are increasingly turning to apply technology to enhance visitors’ engagement, provide more interactive experiences and show collections in new and innovative ways.

Implement the 2023 work plan on organizing and coordinating to hold the regularly temporary exhibitions and mobile exhibitions of Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts to the public.

Documenting the preservation of museum objects is setting up files in detail all impacts and interventions on objects by taking notes and photographing objects before, during and after the preservation process as well as chemicals used in the preservation.
