The 10th Festival of Culture and Sports of ethnic minorities in Buon Ma Thuot City, 2018 is organized at group level and city level. Based on the results of participation of agencies in Group 1 and Group 2, the Organization Board will select some excellent agencies to participate in the 10th Festival of Culture and Sports of the ethnic minorities in Buon Ma Thuot, 2018 at the city level. Group 1 opens at 7.30 a.m on March 6th, 2018 at K'dun village, Cu Ebur commune, Buon Ma Thuot city. Group 2 opens at 7.30 a.m on March 8th 2018 at Cu M'lim village, Ea Kao commune, Buon Ma Thuot city. The city level Festival opens at 7.30 a.m on March 10th 2018 at Ako Dhong Village, Tan Loi Ward. The cultural contests include folk art, fast rice pounding, traditional food and gong performance. After these contests, each group of five teams who gained the highest scores is selected to participate in the city level Festival. For the contents of the Ede’s traditional fabric and bamboo weaving, all products participating in the contests in Group 1 and Group 2 must participate in the exhibition at the city level Festival. In addition, organizations and artisans are encouraged to bring their traditional products to display, introduce and sell as souvenirs during the city level Festival. The Sports contents include walking on stilts, stick pushing and tug of war. After the contest, each group selected the first and second teams to participate in the city level Festival. The 10th Festival of Culture and Sports of ethnic minorities in Buon Ma Thuot City, 2018 participated by artisans, actors and public athletes who are ethnic people in the city. It is creates opportunities for them to meet, exchange and share experience, strengthen the solidarity of the community and the relationship between villages, promote the emulation movement of production to improve spiritual and material life for the people. Thereby, it contributes to preserve and promote traditionally cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities in the city and implement well the movement "All people unite to build cultural life".
