Receive and work with Department of Cultural Heritage

In the morning on May 9th 2018, Dak Lak Museum received and worked with Department of Cultural Heritage.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Pham Dinh Phong, Deputy Director of Department of Cultural Heritage, representatives of Dak Lak Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Directorate and Heads of Divisions of Dak Lak Museum. At the working session, Mrs. Nguyen Thuy Phuong Hieu, Director of Dak Lak Museum reported the situation of the Museum during the past time and proposed to Department of Cultural Heritage to connect with heritage organizations to participate in conferences, seminars on heritage preservation, to organize professional training courses on preservation of and promotion of cultural heritage values, and to make collaboration in the field of scientific research. In addition, the functional departments of Dak Lak Museum also mentioned some difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing tasks including competence to liquidate and destroy objects, studying supplement regulations related to the digitization of documents and policies for the implementers, and considering higher titles for heritage officers. Speaking at the working session, Mr. Pham Dinh Phong, Deputy Director of Department of Cultural Heritage gave instructions and responses to the recommendations and proposals of Dak Lak Museum. At the same time, he suggested professional orientations for Dak Lak Museum to research and build plans for mission implementation. Mr. Pham Dinh Phong also believed that Dak Lak Museum will develop strongly in the future.
