Attending the opening ceremony were Tran Thi Bich Huyen, Deputy Director of Ethnic Culture Department, Mr. Nguyen Van Ha, Deputy Director of Dak Lak Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, representatives of divisions and agencies under Dak Lak Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Nearly 80 trainees who are working in cultural activities in communes, village elders, heads of villages, and prestigious people in the ethnic minority communities and in the border areas of Dak Lak province also participated in the course. Mrs. Tran Thi Bich Huyen, Deputy Director of the Ethnic Culture Department stated at the opening: "The training course was organized with the purpose of enhancing and promoting the role of commune culture cadres, prestigious people in order to raise the people’s awareness of implementing the Party's and State's legal policies in preserving and promoting the fine traditional culture values. This contributes to the hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and unsound customs abolishment for the life quality improvement. To contribute to the improvement of the capacity of management and organization of cultural, sports, family and tourist activities, and preservation of traditional cultural values." After the course, the trainees will be provided with useful topics on building cultural life at grassroots level and protecting the space and the cultural environment of ethnic people to preserve and promote good traditional culture values and build cultural families and villages.
