EXHIBITION TITLED "VIETNAMESE FOLK PAINTINGS" AT DAK LAK MUSEUM
On the occasion of welcoming The Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024 and the Vietnamese Communist Party Foundation Day (February 3rd 1930 - February 3rd 2024), Dak Lak Museum in collaboration with Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts organizes a specialized exhibition titled "Vietnamese Folk Paintings".
The exhibition includes 69 typical paintings, selected from the collection of Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts, introducing to the public a unique form of folk art, with the diversity and richness of famous folk paintings such as Dong Ho (Thuan Thanh - Bac Ninh), Hang Trong, Kim Hoang (Hanoi), and some worship paintings of Vu Di (Vinh Phuc), Doc Loi (Nghe An).

The exhibition opens at 8 a.m. on January 19th 2024 (on Friday) and welcome visitors until February 25th 2024. With vibrant, fresh colors and profound meanings, each set of paintings is considered as a wish for peace, happiness and success sent to visitors and the art-loving public in Dak Lak on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024.
